This unusual Nigella bursts into a profusion of delicate and whimsical white flower stars which are then followed by a bright green seed pod which is super useful dried. A must, easy grow for your flower filled garden!
Growing Guide
This is an easy to grow hardy annual, start seeds in Spring or Autumn.
Nigella dislikes root disturbance and grows well from direct sowing, germination takes between 10-21 days with a temperature between 18-20 C.
Situate these hardy annuals in full sun, cut stems regularly to encourage repeat flowering, and leave some flowers to form the fabulous seed pods in late summer.
Cut and Come again, we harvest these all summer long and find they gently self seed around if seed pods left.
