Cynoglossum Forget me Not Pink – Cutting Variety
(Grown here on the farm from our own saved seed)
If you love flowers that bring softness, movement, and a little cloud-like delicacy to borders and bouquets, Cynoglossum ‘Pink’ is one of those understated gems that quietly transforms a garden. With its fluttering sprays of tiny blush-pink blooms, air-light stems, and effortless cottage-garden charm, this plant is perfect for anyone who loves a soft, romantic planting style or needs a filler flower that instantly makes arrangements look natural and professional.
What makes our Cynoglossum even more special is that it’s a true closed-loop flower — grown on our South Devon farm, harvested for seed here, and grown again from our own saved seed. These plants are truly home-grown, UK-raised, and suited to our climate, producing healthy, vigorous growth and excellent stems for cutting. Every plug we send comes from seed that germinated here in our nursery, making this variety a sustainable and resilient choice for UK gardens.
We supply 6 jumbo plug plants per order, grown in peat-free compost and delivered in our biodegradable or reusable hado bags, ensuring your plants stay hydrated and protected on their journey to you. These plugs establish quickly, fill out beautifully, and reward you with weeks of soft, airy colour.
Why Gardeners Love Cynoglossum ‘Pink’
Cynoglossum is known for adding movement and texture, and the pink form is especially lovely. It brings a gentle blush to garden beds and looks stunning paired with whites, mauves, soft blues, and feathery grasses. With its long, slender stems and dainty blooms, it’s ideal for:
-
Cutting gardens – a brilliant filler flower for bouquets
-
Cottage borders – natural, whimsical, airy
-
Wildflower-style planting – bees love it
-
Wedding and event arrangements – soft, feminine colour
-
Mixing with structural flowers – softens and balances strong shapes
Once planted, Cynoglossum is surprisingly easy. It loves a sunny, well-drained spot and rewards you with continuous flowering throughout the summer. The more you cut, the more it produces — a dream for those who love filling vases or gifting home-grown flowers.
