Cynoglossum ‘Ms Marilyn’ – Cutting Variety (6 Jumbo Plug Plants)
(A new soft-grey variety, grown from our own saved seed)
Cynoglossum ‘Ms Marilyn’ is one of the most elegant and unusual varieties we’ve grown — a soft grey, misty, ethereal flower that feels like it has stepped straight out of a meadow at dawn. With its gentle silvery-grey blooms, airy branching stems and extremely soft colour palette, it brings a cool, calming presence to borders and a sophisticated, modern touch to floral arrangements.
This is a brand-new variety for us, and we’re thrilled with how beautifully it performs here on the farm. Even better, these plugs are grown from our own seed, harvested by hand and replanted in a complete closed-loop system. That means strong, healthy plants already adapted to UK weather and growing conditions — resilient, reliable, and ready to thrive.
Raised in peat-free compost and supplied as 6 jumbo plug plants, this is a great choice for gardeners who love soft neutrals, country-meadow styling, or anything slightly whimsical and ethereal. Its cool colour tone pairs beautifully with dusky pinks, whites, blues, and soft purples — an unbeatable combination for wedding work or naturalistic arrangements.
Why Cynoglossum ‘Ms Marilyn’ Is So Special
This variety is ideal for:
-
Modern, muted bouquets – superb for weddings
-
Cottage-garden style borders
-
Soft, tonal colour schemes
-
Adding movement and texture to planting
-
Blending with stronger, bolder flowers
-
Pollinator-friendly borders
The unusual grey colouring stands out without being loud. It brings a calming, toned-down elegance to the garden, and in the vase, it acts as a soft-focus filler that ties the whole arrangement together.
Because these are grown from our own UK-saved seed, they’re hardy, sturdy, and adapted to British weather patterns, producing consistent growth and dependable stems.
