This gorgeous snapdragon is full of colour, character, and cottage-garden charm, and it’s a brand-new addition to our range this year. With its deep rosy-pink, frilly double blooms and elegant open-faced form, it brings an instant pop of cheerful colour to borders, containers, and cutting patches.

We trialled the Holly Double Orange last year and it was a real star performer — strong plants, long flowering stems, brilliant vase life, and so popular that it sold out quickly. So naturally, we couldn’t wait to expand the collection, and this deeper Pink shade gives you that same vigour but with a bold, warm flush of colour that stands out beautifully in the garden.

The flowers are what make this variety so special. Instead of the traditional snapdragon shape, Holly Double varieties have a softer, more open bloom with layers of lightly ruffled petals. In the darker pink shade, those petals glow intensely in the sunlight and look absolutely stunning in early summer bouquets. Whether you’re planting a romantic cottage-style border or simply wanting reliable colour from spring into summer, this is a variety that delivers in abundance.

Your plants begin their journey here in our South Devon nursery, where we grow them in peat-free compost for strong root development and healthy top growth. Each order contains 6 jumbo plug plants — chunky, well-rooted plugs that are far from tiny seedlings. They transplant easily, settle quickly, and provide a brilliant head start for the season.

To keep things sustainable, we pack all our plugs into hado bags, which are biodegradable or reusable. They protect the plants beautifully during travel and help us minimise single-use plastics — something we care about deeply.

Your plants will be dispatched mid to late March. Because every plant grows at its own pace depending on weather and variety, we can’t give an exact date — but the moment your order is ready and packed, Royal Mail will send you a text or email letting you know it’s on its way.
